ShelterKids helps support the Salt Lake County Youth Services Milestone Transitional Living Program through in-kind donations and funding.
The Milestone Transitional Living Program’s mission is to provide safe housing, supportive services, and a pathway to self-sufficiency for young adults ages 18–21 who are experiencing homelessness. By stabilizing housing, fostering employment, building life skills, and connecting young people with lasting community resources, Milestone works to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring.
An average of 100 youth age out of foster care in Utah every year, often with no stable place to call home. Milestone steps in to bridge that gap, offering not just a roof, but a foundation for the future.
In-kind donations of new items are accepted at Salt Lake County Youth Services, at 177 W Price Ave, South Salt Lake, M-F, 8am-5pm
