Partner with ShelterKids to bring an Gifting Tree into your business.

Gifting Trees help collect in-kind donations that support abused, neglected, and at-risk youth in our community.

ShelterKids is an all-volunteer nonprofit and 100% of all donations go directly to youth.

About Gifting Trees

The Gifting Tree Program is one of ShelterKids most impactful initiatives. Each year, we set up “Gifting Trees” at local libraries and businesses, which display tags that list a wish or essential need for children of all ages in programs through Salt Lake County Youth Services. These tags include items such as clothing, books, toys, hygiene products, and school supplies. Community members are encouraged to select a tag, purchase item(s) listed, and return it to the business or directly to ShelterKids.

The goal of the Gifting Tree Program is to provide these children with the basic necessities and simple joys that can make a significant difference in their lives, particularly during the holiday season when feelings of isolation or sadness can be heightened for those in need.

Partnership Opportunity

Host an Gifting Tree - Display an Gifting Tree in your business as early as November 3rd through December 23rd. We will provide the tree, tags, and promotional materials, while your customers can participate by choosing and fulfilling an item from the Wish List.

Promote the Program - Help us spread the word by promoting the Gifting Tree program through your social media channels, newsletters, and in-store displays.

Foster The Spirit of Giving - Encourage your team to participate in fulfilling Gifting Tree wishes as part of a company-wide initiative. Select team members to help deliver the donations to ShelterKids in South Salt Lake.
