Family Preservation

Family Preservation provides Youth Services therapists that work to counsel and educate at-risk families to create a safe and secure environment for the children and youth in the home. The program's objective is to prevent children and teens from having to be removed from the home by helping improve their living conditions, and encouraging families to stay together. Youth Services therapists are provided at no charge to families referred by the DCFS.

Living conditions are often poor among the Family Preservation participants, so basic household items such as bathroom, kitchen and cooking items, hygiene products, dishes, and furniture are greatly needed.
